Info about Heartsaver Classes

There are 3 options for customers who need a Heartsaver Certification-

Heartsaver CPR AED – 3 hours long
Heartsavver First Aid CPR AED  – 6-7 hours long
Heartsaver First Aid Only – 3.5 hours long

You must always make sure to offer the customer the combo class so they can get the CPR AED and First Aid all done in the same class. It saves them time and money to do them together.

Who Needs Heartsaver?

Anyone not in Healthcare or going to school to work in healthcare (those people need BLS)

Babysitters/Nannys
Teachers/Educators
Construction Workers
United States Coast Guard
Military
Lifegaurds
Personal Trainers/Fitness Instructors

 

What does the Heartsaver Course Cover?

Heartsaver CPR AED
This class covers infant, children, and adult CPR. Also included in the course are scene safety, how to check for a pulse, rescue breathing, how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and choking rescue techniques for all age groups.

Heartsaver First Aid
The First Aid section covers a wealth of information including but not limited to allergic reactions, low blood sugar, broken bones, bandaging, burns, control of bleeding, chemical exposure, and much more. The class will last around 6-7 hours. Each student who completes the class will be certified with the American Heart Association and all certifications are good for 2 years.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED
Covers everything in both the Heartsaver CPR AED class and the Heartsaver First Aid Class
