Additional Comments:  I took this class 2 years ago before I started my first job as a new grad RN and loved the hands-on experience of being in a code-like situation. Now that I have a job in the hospital, we use RQI, but I still chose to renew my ACLS on top of my existing certification just to take this class. This class gives you so much that RQI lacks in terms of really understanding the what and why you’re doing what you’re doing in a code situation—not  the monotony of going through the motions on half-broken mannequins with staff rushing before the deadline that RQI is. I also learned so much interesting, specific, and nuanced information on pathophys today with Dr. Chris. Will definitely be coming back!
