Additional Comments: 100/10! I have taken PALS for years and at some of the top-rated university hospitals around the country and this class was the most detailed and interactive course I have ever taken. The teacher was beyond confident and didn’t buckle when difficult questions were asked and the handouts should be incorporated into the American Heart Association material. When I saw how many people were in this class I was concerned it would go all day and would be boring, but she kept the class moving, didn’t waste time, and didn’t let others take over the class. There were a few no-it-alls that actually didn’t know it all and I am glad she made corrections because these are real kids these people will take care of. She said she was a nurse but I am pretty sure she is a few times resurrected nurse who has lived a few lifetimes of experience. The office is immaculate and the manikins are fancy. I also like that we all had our own desks and equipment since a few people had the sniffles. Whatever you are paying this teacher is not enough. Keep her happy so she doesn’t leave because, with a class like today, you will keep people coming back for years. I think most of the class had been with her before and were stoked she was still here teaching. I know I will be back and better have her again. Bar set, period.
